ELECTRICIAN

JOB SUMMARY
 

Under the supervision of the electrical foreman, the electrician is responsible for performing construction, refurbishment, modification, repair, and maintenance work on electrical installations. The position is located on a project in East Montreal.
 

TASKS
 

• Carry out various electrical work
• Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Conduct tests on electrical equipment to verify continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records
• Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instruments and related devices, as required

• Perform any other related duties

   

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Electricity
• General Health and Safety on Construction Sites certification (ASP – 30h)

• Valid competency certificate from the Commission de la Construction du Québec
