GASTIER ANNOUNCES RICHARD GAUTHIER AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

 

MONTREAL, March 12, 2019 — Gastier is proud to announce Mr. Richard Gauthier has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective March 12, 2019. He succeeds Mr. Sylvain Gadoury, who held the position since 2011.  Mr. Gadoury will remain with Gastier as Advisor to the CEO.

 

An engineer by trade, Mr. Gauthier has held the position of Director of Major Projects at Bouygues Energies & Services since 2016.. Previously, he held the position of Director at GESEC Développement, a French company with over 10,000 employees in the energy industry. He also has an entrepreneurial spirit, having been at the head of the family business specializing in plumbing, heating, ventilation and electricity for nearly 15 years.

 

I am very excited to join Gastier, a company that has been providing quality services for almost 50 years,” says Mr. Gauthier, who will be able to rely on the expertise and skills of the Gastier management committee, including Sylvain Gadoury, to assist with Mr. Gauthier’s transition, but also to work on external growth opportunities and to develop the expertise of both Gastier and Bouygues Energie & Services’ Industry division.
