PIPEFITTER
JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Pipefitter is responsible for carrying out construction work in collaboration with team members to develop and successfully complete various projects.
TASKS
- Perform various pipefitting and plumbing tasks;
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to plumbing installations;
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and equipment in accordance with current codes and standards;
- Ensure compliance with the company’s quality procedures;
- Meet customer needs and expectations within the scope defined by the contract;
- Communicate relevant information to the Project Manager;
- Participate in site meetings, coordination sessions, and health & safety meetings with the client and/or general contractor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Vocational diploma (DEP) in Plumbing and Heating;
- Health and Safety certification for construction sites (ASP – 30h);
- Valid competency certificate issued by the Commission de la Construction du Québec (CCQ).
Experience and skills
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
- Experience on construction sites and in service calls;
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written;
- Valid driver’s license.
