GAP MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Division Director, the Gap Manager is responsible for analyzing budgetary and operational variances and overseeing the accounts payable and billing process. The role ensures compliance with payment terms and resolves billing discrepancies while collaborating closely with Purchasing and Operations teams.
TASKS
- Identify and analyze discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders
- Participate in accounts payable reconciliations and manage billing discrepancies
- Ensure invoices comply with purchase orders and contractual terms
- Monitor payments and due dates to avoid delays
- Maintain supplier files and payment information
- Supervise and support the processing of supplier invoices
- Audit and process supplier invoices according to established procedures
- Monitor cost and time variances related to projects or operations
- Produce various reports and analysis tables and propose recommendations

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Academic
- College degree in a related field and/or any equivalent experience.
Experience and skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of accounts payable processes
- Knowledge of accounting and billing software (MS Dynamics D365, an asset)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in the construction sector, an asset
