FINANCIAL CONTROLLER – PROJECTS
JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Projects Financial Controller Supervisor, the Projects Financial Controller works closely with members of the division to ensure optimal management of financial budgets for construction and infrastructure projects, particularly through the automation of the billing process.
TÂCHES
- Analyze project financial data to assess monthly profitability;
- Oversee the smooth operation of the business unit’s financial activities, ensuring data accuracy and completeness while meeting deadlines;
- Evaluate the future profitability of projects by estimating end-of-project margins;
- Participate in month-end analyses and corporate-level KPI reporting;
- Analyze financial control management methods and processes;
- Contribute to various financial analyses;
- Optimize and produce project invoicing;
- Customize and adapt financial control methods and processes using MS Dynamics while adhering to Group policies;
- Coordinate the financial planning and budgeting process for the business unit;
- Support operational teams during commercial engagements (selection, launch, closeout, etc.) to ensure optimal use of MS Dynamics functionalities for financial data analysis;
- Implement and oversee operational and financial management control for certain job sites in collaboration with local teams;
- Perform any other related duties.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Academic
- University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or relevant equivalent experience.
Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of MS Dynamics is an asset;
- Experience in the construction industry is an asset;
- Advanced proficiency in Excel;
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in French (mandatory);
- Very good written and spoken communication skills in English to interact with colleagues worldwide.
