DISPATCHER
JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Division Manager, the Dispatcher serves as the company’s first point of contact with the customer. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s image, with a focus on providing efficient service to both internal and external stakeholders.
TASKS
- Receive service calls;
- Assign staff based on service requests and availability;
- Follow up with customers;
- Determine whether the call is a service request, a jobsite inquiry, or a request for an estimate or manager visit;
- Perform any other related duties.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
- College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma in office administration, or any equivalent experience.
Experience and qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role;
- Experience in plumbing and electrical fields is an asset;
- Familiarity with Progression Live software is an asset;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to interact with international colleagues.
