CONTROL PANEL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

JOB SUMMARY
 

Working closely with the project manager and the foreman, the Control Panel Assembly Technician will be responsible for participating in the fabrication of control panels.
 

TASKS
 

• Manufacture and assemble control panels in accordance with drawings and technical specifications;
• Receive and verify incoming materials;
• Perform testing on control panels to ensure proper operation;
• Package control panels for shipment;
• Perform all other related tasks.
   

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Academic

• Vocational Diploma (DEP) in electromechanics and/or a related field.
   

Experience and Qualifications

• Relevant experience in control panel manufacturing;
• Proficiency in reading blueprints;
• Proficiency in control panel assembly techniques;
• Knowledge of the CSA C22.2 No. 286-17, Industrial Control Equipment standard, an asset;
• Knowledge of the UL‑508A standard, an asset;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French.
