CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR
POST SUMMARY
Under the responsibility of the Director of Finance & Administration, the Contract Administrator works closely with the Legal Department to ensure a clear understanding and proper application of contractual clauses by all stakeholders. This is a temporary 6-month assignment, with the possibility of extension.
TASKS
- Ensure full management of the contract lifecycle, including analysis, internal coordination, and negotiation;
- Attend project follow-up meetings to address contractual issues, amendments, and potential problems;
- Prepare required documentation for litigation or legal claims, in collaboration with lawyers or legal advisors;
- Verify insurance requirements and validate corresponding policies;
- Support procurement teams in drafting, reviewing, and managing disputes related to purchase orders (POs) and contracts;
- Ensure the management, compliance, and renewal of the company's corporate and provincial licenses;
- Maintain up-to-date corporate records, legal documents, and internal meeting minutes;
- Contribute to the implementation of internal policies and group guidelines by providing strategic support;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Position requirements
Academic
- University degree in Administration, Law, or a related field;
Experience and qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Strong knowledge of contract management, particularly in the construction sector;
- Familiarity with current standards and regulations in the construction industry;
- Excellent command of French (oral and written);
- Proficiency in English (oral and written) for preparing bilingual documents and analyzing contracts from English-speaking clients.
